Great wash lights for backlighting people or for accent lighting on the stage. Love that they have RGB as well as White and Amber for versatile looks. (Do not use as key lights!)
These make great accent lights. The possibilities are endless. Pair well with the ADJ Mega Hex Pars
Audix DP drum mics are like the SM58 for drums. Reliable, sounds great, and is a great value. Also come in 5 Piece Kit or can be ordered a la cart 🍽️.
"Does my team need in-ears?" The answer is YES. Get P16's if you have a Behringer mixer and don't have the personnel for a dedicated in-ear mixer. Also need a distributor.
This 🐍 is much less scary to handle than an analog one. One ethernet cable to the mixer and you're ready to rock! Comes in 16 channel version as well. Or Midas version for our boojie folks. Don't forget a shielded ethernet cable.
Not sure the X32 is gonna cut it for you? If you have a little extra money to work with, the WING is awesome! (Also comes in compact size) Check out the benefits it has over the X32 in this video. (Master the WING with WING Mastery)
Although a bit old now, it's still the tried and true. If you're working with a tight budget, this would still be our recommendation. (If you can swing an extra $1K, get the WING Compact instead) Fastest way to master this mixer: X32 Mastery
1080p switcher with 10 inputs and 6 outputs (+multiview). This is the more versatile option over the ATEM Mini Extreme. It doesn't have a built-in encoder, but ATEM built-in encoders are trash anyway...
This is what we use to get more than two unique outs for ProPresenter. 2 of them are tied together sending a key and a fill to stream for transparent content. (Thunderbolt Chasis we use)
This has the same 4k sensor as the pocket cinema camera and the studio 4k. If you need a secondary camera that doesn't have an operator, the size, quality, and price of this camera is unbeatable.
Blackmagic's micro 4/3 4k sensor is impressive for it's size and affordability. Great colors, sharp, and decent noise performance. I couldn't find a better option for streaming in this price bracket (G2 is linked. Same price but better features than G1)
Our vocalists each have their own SE V7 capsule and this is how we safely store them.
Great adjustable Key (Front) lighting without breaking the bank.
Affordable and accurate. You can def pay more and probably get even better accuracy, but this gets the job done well enough for most.
It's pricy, but you seriously won't regret this purchase. This is a long-term investment for your pastor that won't disappoint. Also comes in different colors to match skin tone.
How to make your pastor's mics sound amazing
Holds your ambient mics, cymbal mics, reference mics, etc... Here's a really nifty clamp for mounting to a variety of places: CAMVATE Crab Clamp
This is a very versatile controller that we use to operate our 1 M/E using Companion software. You can make this control nearly anything.
If you need to get a stereo bus mix to another computer via USB for a live stream, this a great device to do so.
Absolute essential! This will not only protect your expensive sound equipment from power surges but also clean up the power to help eliminate hum and buzz. Get as many as you need to plug in your gear. Don't overload them.
Self explanatory... Take some time and organize them cables. You won't regret it.
If you need an iPad to do 1 simple job like running your backing tracks app, mixing app, etc., these are a great bang for a buck.
We use these speakers to pipe in the sound to our lobby.
We upgraded from the PRX812 ($900) to the SRX815 ($1800) and the difference is night and day. Double the price equals double the sound quality in this scenario. Two SRX815 and one SRX828SP is our setup for our 160-seat auditorium and it's magnificent.
Fell in love with her from the first note 😌. Man, does this sub sound good. Whether you want to fill out your sound or feel your pant legs moving, this will do it.
These are a very slight upgrade over the Audix kit. They were sent to us and we liked them, so we kept them around.
Most stock acoustic guitar pickups are 🗑️. They sound nothing like the guitar does acoustically. The Anthem pickup is an element/microphone hybrid that gives great tone and feedback rejection.
This encoder has some great features and looks incredible. Scheduling, stream to multiple destinations, record to SD card, stream/record two different bitrates at once, etc... Here's the best part: NO SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED
Our favorite budget in-ear monitors. They sound great and come with a good selection of different ear tips to get a good fit. Our entire team uses a variation of these. Different driver configurations for different members of the band.
This is the partial drum shield we use. We have five 2ft x 4ft panels with deflectors and plastic hinges
We used to use Hosa extension cables and switched to these. Twice as much, but much more reliable.
Affordable and good quality. Plus have a lifetime warranty.
Affordable and good quality. Plus a lifetime warranty.
Absolute best direct box! These things are a little pricy, but they sound great and last much longer than the cheap ones. Haven't had one crap out on us yet! Also comes in stereo version and active version.
If you're running multiple wireless mics/in-ears, you need an antenna. This is the one we use recommended by experts, and it's never let us down! Don't forget to grab some distributors as well. We use the EW-D distributors with our EW-D mics.
Our favorite ambient mics for better live stream sound. Killer value too! Learn how to set them up here.
We recently switched our vocalists over to these capsule for their increased presence and noise rejection compared to the stock Sennheiser capsule.
Great middle-of-the-road wireless mics. These are digital/analog hybrids. We like these better than their analog siblings because of the app that takes care of frequency selection for you, picking clean frequencies and properly spacing them apart. Check out our review video here.
Unfortunately, EW-D transmitters don't have a display. So these are great for the identification of transmitters.
Great headphones to have back at the mixer. We use them to monitor the live stream mix.
Tried and true. Will give you solid sound at a great price for a lifetime! Been told it also makes a great self-defense weapon if needed 🤷♂️
These have been an improvement over the standard round cymbal shields for us.
This is one of the most affordable options for getting multiple outs from your backing tracks. Plug and play, no setup required. 8 outs total.
Great for organizing equipment drawers (as seen in our 2024 tech tour update)
These are great for storing lose items in equipment drawers (as seen in our 2024 tech tour update).
These are awesome for keeping microphones safe inside drawers (as seen in our 2024 tech tour update).
If you need to lower your drum noise slightly, maple sticks are the way to go. Lighter than hickory and with a smaller tip, these will help you drummer finesse the sound a little better.
