Great church sound. It's what we all want, isn't it? I suppose that's why our guest, James Wasem, named his book Great Church Sound.
I have a copy of it, and to me, it’s like the manual you’ve always wanted. Everything you need to know about church sound is in there. But unlike most manuals, you can actually understand it.
James is passionate about helping you problem solve church sound issues and he does just that in this episode.

James Wasem has been fascinated by sound and electricity from an early age. His love of music and technical gear made sound engineering and systems integration a natural pursuit. James has spent the last 20 years performing and touring in bands as a drummer, mixing live sound for churches, schools, and theatres, working as an audio systems installer and designer, and helping others effectively use audio/video technology.
Complementing his professional audio and video skills, James is also the co-founder and CEO of Gigee.me - a web service created to help people stream their own live events to an online audience around the world.
Though involved in highly technical fields, James has a passion for making things simple to understand and easy to use. And one day he hopes to play the hurdy-gurdy.
James and his wife Kate live in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Missoula, Montana. Learn more and connect with James:
